10 Tips to Help You Look Younger

10 Tips to Help You Look Younger:
If you want to have a quality life when you are in your 60s 70s, no other thing can help you out but yourself. Having a sound mind, body and spirit are the only things that can make you look vibrant and a sharp mind even when you are getting old. Keeping your brain in a perfect order, exercising properly for a sound body can give you a very long and healthy life. Eating proper food that contains essential minerals and vitamins good for your health is also one of the best anti aging tips.
When we are young we always have this feeling in us that we are the ones, and all the really good things do not actually appear good to us, but as it is said that when you get older you become wiser. Well along with all the experiences that we have in our lives we have to follow some tips that can still make us look younger and healthier. Other than the exercising, keeping the brain busy and so many other things we must also be update with the makeup trends that makes us look pretty even in our old age.
So, here I have this post about some tips to look younger that actually do work for you when your age starts drying and thinning

1. A perfect Primer and liquid foundation helps immensely in filling up your wrinkles and makes them less visible. Firstly use the primer to fill the small wrinkles and then do not apply a thick layer of foundation as it breaks and cracks appear on your skin but use moisturizer and a light liquid foundation to add a skin plumping effect in you.

2. Make your eyes look pretty and do not go for the overly done clown eyes. As you know that your eye sight might a little weak so use a good magnifying mirror to do the eye makeup and enhance the shape of your eye. The usage of eye liner is very much important and use mascara to give the illusion of thick eye lashes. Use sophisticated and light eye shade with a little shimmer that gives you a vibrant look.

3. While applying the foundation don’t forget to put that on your lips too as you would love to have lips that do not have a bleeding lip color but using a foundation or moisturizer plumps up your lips, use a lip pencil to make the shape of your lips and then fill in with it, after that use the lipstick brush to apply the lipstick.

4. Reduce dark circles and rejuvenate the tired eyes by getting proper rest and reduces eye puffiness. If you have dark circles then it may be because of too much pigmentation so use creams that are rich in vitamin c plus you can also use cucumber for your eyes as it has a very soothing effect on them.

5. Sunglasses are not only a great fashion but it also makes you look younger and stylish. It is among the ways in which you can keep your eyes safe from sun damage but also saves you from getting more wrinkles on your skin.

6. Hairs trimming are very much important, as with the passage of time your hairs start falling down then get a proper hair cut and maintain your hairs. A hairdo must be in such a way that it adds volume to your hairs and style them in a sophisticated manner. You know you will be having grey hairs soon, so do not fret about the grey hairs.

7. Exfoliation is a very good tip for keeping your skin fresh, scrub your face and body regularly to remove the dull skin. Apply this all very gently and do not scrub too hard as it will put rashes on your skin.

8. Bleach your skin every month or two as the aging spots will appear on your skin and hydroquinone is the ingredient necessary for your skin which lightens your skin.

9. Eat healthy food for a sound body, for a glowing skin you can eat salmon as it is rich in omega 3 fatty acids, eat fruits for proper vitamins and minerals plus the most important part i.e. quit smoking.

10. Other tips include teeth whitening, moisturizing your hands properly and softening your heels which are very much important. Similarly while going out use sunscreen thoroughly and see a dermatologist after sometime for more care and safety of your skin.

The Top Ten Magazine Covers of 2011

The Top Ten Magazine Covers of 2011:
Every year around this time, newspapers, magazines, blogs and digitally based publications swamp us with their “Top Ten” lists. They cover everything from ‘The Year in Review’ to what not to wear to a holiday party to the ‘Hottest Songs of the Year”. Inevitably, we come across the “Top Magazine Covers” of the year.
The presentations are interesting and offer up very attractive covers. But they’re rarely from the perspective of people who have to work with the results of the art and editorial departments. You know, the circulation folks. You know, those guys and gals at the back of the office? The ones that flinch every time the CFO walks by?
Halfway through this year, the Foredeck posted what we thought were the best covers so far.
So what’s changed? Who stayed on top from that list? Who’s dropped off and who’s been added? You’ll see below. And because there were so many really great covers put on the newsstands this year, I decided to add a new category: “Honorable Mentions”.
1. Vogue Magazine – January 2011 Featuring Natalie Portman: When I first saw this cover a year ago, I swore it was one of the best covers I had ever seen. Only two other covers have ever affected me like that: A neon colored Vanity Fair cover of rock stars, and aChicago Magazine whimsical creation that offered up the “Secrets of the City”. The coloring, the positioning of the actress, the class and elegance that exude from this cover are the elements that do it for me. Heck, I actually bought a copy! And no, it wasn’t thebest selling cover of the year. But it did well.

Vogue's Natalie Portman cover gets first position in the life boat.
2. Interview Magazine – September 2011 Featuring Anne Hathaway: This fascinating cover made it on my October “Two More Contenders For Best Cover of the Year post from October. I hadn’t paid any attention to Interview Magazine on the racks for a number of years, but this cover was front and center and jumped off the rack at me. Generally I warn clients to stay away from arty black and white covers. But the editors at Interview have clearly figured it out. Guess what? This does appear to be one of the best selling issues of the year.

Looks like Anne get's a seat next to Natalie!
3. Outside Magazine – May 2011 Featuring Steven Colbert: I pointed out in my June “So Far” review that aside from the great cover image, one of the selling points for me on this cover was Outside’s use of the skyline above their logo. They use it well. Moreover, while this longstanding newsstand favorite uses a lot of cover lines, their lines for the Colbert story are clever and funny without being too cute. That’s rule #1 in my book for cover lines. You can always be too cute. Was this one of their best selling covers of the year? No, it was not. Didn’t I say this was subjective and unscientific?

We'll let the Comedy Central funny man steer the lifeboat, but he loses points for a low sale. It happens sometimes.
4. Bullett Magazine – Vol. #4 Featuring Saoirse Ronan: This  magazine lives in a well traveled niche covering the world of fashion, art, music, film and entertainment. They compete directly with the likes of Interview Magazine in a category that is so crowded, you have to ask what makes you so different? Your editorial will certainly differentiate you but how do you grab readers from a crowded bookstore newsstand? If you’re Bullet, produce cover after elegant cover with the newest stars. Volume 3 features a close up of the striking Irish actress Saoirse Ronan of Hannah.
Yes, it does appear to be on of their better selling issues this year.

Bullet Magazine Vol. #3
5. Esquire Magazine – May 2011 Featuring Jeff Bridges: I’ve liked just about every single cover that Esquire has produced this year. Even the much hyped but underperforming Brooklyn Decker feature from February actually sold better than this cover. But I chose it to illustrate how even a middling performing cover from Esquire has all of the elements that make a good cover. A great image, cover lines that inspire and ask you to pay attention, good use of color, and a kick you in the seat of your pants use of the skyline. And this year I officially became an old guy so Jeff’s my guy.

We could give Esquire their own lifeboat.
6. Entertainment Weekly – March 17 Featuring Nathan Fillion: There is absolutely nothing wrong with this cover featuring Castle start Nathan Fillion. The colors are right. The cover lines scream exactly the right measure of “OMG” and “FTW”. The skyline has everything an entertainment junkie could like. Have I mentioned that Entertainment Weekly is my favorite magazine?

Keep flying. He will always be Captain Mal Reynolds to me. Maybe he should have taken the helm of the Titanic.
7. The Knot – Spring 2011 Issue: The Gown Guide enters it’s second year of higher frequency publication with a cover that I was sure would be a hard sell (Editor’s Note: XOXO Group is a client.). But look at that dress! And look at those blues! And look at those cover lines! Not only is this cover the best selling of the year, the sales volume in many of the largest retailers was through the roof. In this case, the ice berg warning from the Foredeck was pretty far off. Thank goodness!

The Knot scores with another killer cover.
8. Rolling Stone – May 12 Featuring Steven Tyler: Shouldn’t this magazine for aging Baby Boomers be as cringeworthy as a critique from the American Idol Judge and Aerosmith frontman? Well, no. I picked up this issue of the magazine because the image drew me in. What is Tyler looking at? What about “Game of Thrones”? Many publishers now do what RS does with their skyline, put three different stories up on top. They lose points for simply dropping names, but get them back for solid cover lines in the body and great images.

9. Kiteboarding Magazine – Feb/Mar 2011: This bi-monthly action magazine from Bonnier shows how to mix action, color  and the right way to to put multiple lines up on the skyline. Rather than simply list names (We’re talking to you, RS!), they let the action picture speak for itself and promise more action with cover lines like “24 Hot Kites” and “World Speed Record Broken”.
Kiteboarders don't need lifeboats.
10. Arizona Highways – September 2011 – Photography Issue:  I’m a huge fan of regional magazines and this venerable state publication shows another way to do a black and white cover that draws you in and says “Pick Me Up!”

You have to take a highway to get here.

Sony Ericsson Xperia neo V is a new phone with a catch as it actually closely resembles the Xperia neo, save for the fact that it runs with an updated version of Android Gingerbread, 2.3.4. Design wise the device is virtually the same, but when it comes to the specs it looks more like a downgrade as the camera now only has 5 megapixels with support for 720p videos on the neo V, while the original Sony Ericsson Xperia neo featured an 8-megapixel snapper. The novelties arriving with Gingerbread 2.3.4 include Google Talk with video chats, Facebook inside Xperia, 3D sweep panorama, swipe input and support for screenshots. 7. HTC Sensation

HTC Sensation comes with a fresh serving of Android 2.3 Gingerbread, but it's all about the HTC Sense UI version 3.0 with a touch of refinement and functionality straight from the lock screen. You can choose between a number of lock screen options such as weather updates, quick access to apps and a handful of clock widgets. A 1.2GHz Qualcomm dual-core chipset supports the nice 3D-like transitions in the menu, all carrying resemblance to the ones on the HTC Flyer tablet. The phone is the first with a contoured glass 4.3-inch display meaning that your Super LCD screen is set back slightly to avoid scratches. The resolution is qHD (540x960) with an aspect ratio of 16:9. On the back you have an 8MP camera with dual-LED flash with “instant capture,” meaning little to no lag between pictures. The camera is also capable of recording video at 30fps in full HD (1080p) resolution.

The Samsung GALAXY Note is the first phone to go over the 5-inch screen mark with its 5.3-inch Super AMOLED screen with a resolution of the whopping 800 x 1280 pixels (WXGA), resulting in pixel density of 285ppi. It also stands out with its built in stylus and apps supporting pen input. Under the hood, a Samsung 1.4GHz dual-core chip powers Android 2.3 Gingerbread skinned with TouchWiz. The Galaxy Note also sports an 8-megapixel rear camera capable of 1080p video recording, while up front there is a 2-megapixel shooter..

5. Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc

The Sony Ericsson Xperia arc S is a powerful Android 2.3.4 smartphone with a hefty 1.4 GHz processor, 512 MB of RAM and a 4.2-inch display. The phone's features include a 8.1-megapixel camera with autofocus, 3D panorama, flashlight and 720 video recording, FM radio, microSD card, DLNA, Wi-Fi and GPS.

4. Samsung Galaxy SII

Samsung Galaxy S II is the sequel to the critically-acclaimed Samsung Galaxy S Android smartphone. It comes with the newer Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS, and an even larger screen at 4.3 inches of Super AMOLED Plus goodness. The Galaxy S II upgrades the camera to 8MP and adds an LED flash to it, together with 1080p video recording. A 1.2GHz dual-core chipset is running the show so as to deliver a fine performance without any hints of lag.

3. Motorola Droid RAZR Maxx

Motorola DROID RAZR MAXX is a slightly thicker twin of the DROID RAZR, coming with a larger battery to boost its battery life. All other specs remain the same.

2. HTC Rezound

The HTC Rezound brings the best of both wolrds - 4G LTE and a powerful 1.5GHz dual-core processor, but it's the Beats Audio support that truly makes it unique. The Rezound ships with a pair of red-cabled buds that let that bass reverberate right in your ears. In addition, the handset sports an 8-megapixel rear camera capable of recording 1080p videos.

1. Samsung Galaxy Nexus

Pioneer to the inclusion of Ice Cream Sandwich or Android 4.0 to smartphones, the Samsung Galaxy Nexus comes with 4.65 inches of Super AMOLED, a Dual-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A9 processor, and a PowerVR SGX540 GPU for good running on games and other applications that demand image quality.
