Top 10 Most Highly Paid TV Stars in 2011 – 2012

Everyone loves to be entertained especially if you just came from a tiring and stressful day after work. The consolation that you can get is to relax yourself by watching your favorite TV shows, being led by your favorite actors. As you dawdle on your couch and start yourself being magnetized by their shows, you will have to see and read this list first, as to how much they have earned this year. You might be surprised that the effectiveness of their acting abilities are being weighed with the huge amounts that could give you decades of working just to achieve the salary that they are receiving. Who are they? Read on.
10. Kiefer Sutherland
He got the tenth spot after he was paid for an episode from the “Touch”. He was a Canadian actor that later became a director and producer.   He was born and raised in England yet when his family made a decision to move in Canada, opportunities for him in TV knocked in and he gladly welcomed it. His first acting career begun in 1983 and he has received various nominations since 1985 up to 2009. The “Touch” is an American television series, which he led where he portrayed as a former journalist and a luggage handler. This is a 13-episode series that would premiere in the spring of 2012.


9. Tim Allen 
Last Man Standing might be the second American TV sitcom for him but apparently, he is being paid for an episode for a whooping amount of $225,000. This sitcom started airing last October 11, 2011 wherein Tim Allen played as a director of marketing for an outdoor sporting goods shot in Colarado with his character named Mike Baxter.
8. Angus T. Jones
$225,000 per episode is what Angus T. Jones gets from an American Television Sitcom Two and a Half Men that has been airing since 2003 and is still running where he co-stars with the number one highest paid star for this year Ashton Kutcher and last year’s highest paid star Charlie Sheen for a $1.2 million fee per episode. He played as Jake Harper in a sitcom that was described as an underachieving son of Judith and Allan.
7. Jim Parsons






He is Sheldon Cooper from the Big Bang Theory, wherein he is being paid of $225,000 per episode as his contract this year. This is currently being aired and started its airing in 2007.

6. Kaley Caluco      
Another star from Big Bang Theory who is also being paid an episode of $225,000 for portraying a fictional female character. Kaley Caluco was the neighbor of the main actor Jim Parson who plays Sheldon Cooper in this show wherein she became the love interest of Johnny Galecki in a role, played as Leonard Hofstadter.


5. Johnny Galecki
He is the love interest of Kaley Caluco who plays Sheldon Cooper from the Big Bang Theory who also equally receives a $225,000 salary per episode from the American sitcom. Although he has a various descendants from Italy and Poland, and later on, moved to Oak Park, Illinois, it has paved the way in fulfilling his favorite love, which is acting. His mother had seen his strong likeness on it when he was 11 years old, which she fondly called as a “quiet game” for Johnny.


4. Kate Walsh         
Her whole name is Kathleen Erin Kate Walsh who has been noted for her acting performances in Grey’s Anatomy and of course, Private Practice, in which she is being paid $275,000 per episode. She plays as Dr. Addison Montgomery, which is another main character in this drama that actually started airing in 2007 and is still airing as of the moment.


3. Patrick Dempsey


He is Derek Shepherd from the Grey’s Anatomy medical drama television series which begun airing on March 27, 2005. Like Kate Walsh, he is receiving $275,000 per episode by performing effectively, the role of a fictional surgeon wherein he got four nominations from 2005 to 2009. He has appeared in 146 episodes that Grey’s Anatomy, which was shot since 2005.


2. Jon Cryer




He is not just an actor from the Two and a Half Men American sitcom from which he receives $600,000 per episode where he plays as Alan Harper who is the hapless father of Jake Harper at the same time, as its younger brother of Charlie Harper. Aside from acting, he is also a known film producer and screenwriter.

1. Ashton Kutcher
He is just 33 years old but grabs $700,000 pay per episode of Two and a Half Men American sitcom wherein he plays as Walden Schmidt. It’s now on its ninth season since it started airing in 2003 of September. Before arriving at this greatest moment of his showbiz career, he became a fashion model and he is best known for playing candid roles in some of the comedy movie that he had done.

There are other people in this list like Ted Danson, Tom Bergeron, Nick Cannon, Cat Deeley, David Letterman, Jay Leno, Ryan Seacrest, Anderson Cooper, and Jimmy Fallon. Remember this is just for 2011 and its coverage is for TV shows.
